The Shri Yantra is one of the most revered and powerful symbols in Vedic and traditions, representing the union of the divine masculine and feminine and the unfolding of the cosmos. Known as the “queen of all yantras”, it holds deep significance in meditation, healing and manifestation practices.

This class will guide you through the precise geometry and spiritual significance of the Shri Yantra, blending art, focus, and sacred intention. Drawing it is a meditative journey one that aligns your mind, body, and spirit with clarity and balance.

The Ashtamangala (Eight Auspicious Symbols) are sacred emblems in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, each carrying deep spiritual meaning. In Thangka Mandala art, these symbols are often arranged in harmonious patterns, radiating balance, wisdom, and blessings. Painting them as a mandala is both a devotional and meditative practice, invoking peace and positivity.

  • Meaning and spiritual significance of the 8 Auspicious Symbols
  • Basic drawing techniques for mandalas

  • Materials: Acrylic paints, brushes, fine liners, compass/ruler, canvas/paper (materials list provided before class).
